Wondering this Yom Kippur

I’m doing fine with the normal roadbumps of someone my age, but at age 75 I’ve begun wondering what I’d do if I had only six months to live?

Of course, some of my thoughts involve revenge and others involve minor events of social justice for which I don’t want to get caught doing because there might be consequences.  Here are just two ideas I’ve been thinking about, with some of the rest in later posts!

I have a general dislike for country clubs, especially those that are exclusive and allow no Catholics or Jews (and Jewish clubs that are exclusive).  On the top of my list is to place ads in the local general circulation newspapers and minority press stating that April 1, 20xx will be Black Lives Matters Day at the “Snooty” Club.  No reservations are necessary.  Any foursome, including at least one person of color, may play the course for a donation of $100 apiece, with all of the funds going to the local chapter of the NAACP.  I’d love to see the event unfold with people showing up at the clubs and whether the clubs let people play or turn them away!

Also, like many others, there have been people that have screwed with me over the years in law school, in my career and otherwise.  I think I’ve overcome the roadblocks they had put in my way, and I won’t describe them.  What I’d like to do is download kiddie porn onto their computers and then turn them in to the vigilantes who keep their eyes out for these predators.  While my “friends” might not be prosecuted, it would be a pain in the ass for them to deal with the situation when their computers are subjected to search warrants.  I hope these random thoughts don’t get me written out of theBook Of Life! this year!

As I have more time to think and less time to work, I’ll have more time to plan some fun things!
